MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
1. What is a Referral Agent?
A Referral Agent is a licensed real estate agent who does not engage in transactional real estate. Referral Associates assist their clients with their real estate needs by placing them in our referral network. Referral Associates do not actively solicit or engage in the sale of property.
2. How do I join CRG Referral Associates?
Complete the Enrollment Form, or if you have questions regarding the process, please contact the CRG Referral Associates concierge by clicking on the Contact Us Tab or call 508-810-0352. We look forward to speaking with you about the CRG Referral Associates Program!
3. Is there an annual membership fee?
There are no membership fees or dues associated with CRG Referral Associates membership.
4. I have just passed the real estate exam and received my license, can I join?
Yes, newly licensed agents are welcome to affiliate with CRG Referral Associates if you are not planning to actively sell. CRG Referral Associates is the perfect opportunity for a new agent to get started in the real estate industry while maintaining another career.
5. I have an Inactive License. Why Should I join CRG Referral Associates?
CRG Referral Associates is the perfect way to utilize your real estate license, providing you with an easy way to earn income and keep your options open for a re-entry into the real estate industry. If you are retired or considering retirement, CRG Referral Associates allows you to earn referral income by staying in contact with clients without the time commitment and responsibility involved in real estate transactions.
6. Can I also associate with another brokerage?
No, a referral agent cannot simultaneously hold their license with another broker as a salesperson, associate broker, employing broker, or broker-of-record.
7. What if I decide to return to selling real estate?
If you have not yet selected a broker, we have a training program for agents who wish to return to a career in real estate sales. Email referralassociates@CRG.com and let us know. We will release your license and send you confirmation of your exit from the CRG Referral Associates Program.
EDUCATION
1. Do I need to take Continuing Education Courses if I am affiliated with CRG Referral Associates?
Yes, continuing education courses are necessary for Referral Associates as part of the license renewal process, despite not being active agents. This requirement ensures that even though Referral Associates may not be actively engaged in real estate transactions, they stay updated with relevant knowledge and regulations in the real estate industry. Staying relevant to what is happening in the Real Estate Industry is important when speaking about real estate with your customers!
REFERRAL PROCESS
1. How does the Referral Process Work?
We take the burden out of the referral process, allowing you to focus on growing your referral business! Below are additional reasons to utilize the CRG Referral Associates.

Customers are matched with an experienced agent with exceptional credentials and extensive market knowledge.

Referrals are placed with top brokerages throughout the US with whom we have built strong relationships over the past decade.

Top referral commissions are negotiated on behalf of our CRG Referral Associates members.

CRG Referral Associates maintains ongoing communication with the receiving brokerage, tracking customer progress and the referral commission post-closing.
2. What information do you need to place my Customer Referral?
Please complete the Customer Referral Form, providing detailed information on your customer in the ‘Comments’ section at the bottom of the Referral Form, or click on the Register a Referral tab on this website.
3. Can I interview agents on behalf of my customer?
Yes, we can request that a brokerage send us the names of recommended agents that best meet your customers' needs. You can then interview and select an agent for your customer.
4. Can I request a specific agent or brokerage for my customer?
Yes, you can! When completing the CRG Outgoing Referral Form, please provide the requested agent, brokerage name, and agent contact details in the ‘Comments’ section. including phone number and email address. Please DO NOT contact the receiving agent with customer details before we contact the receiving agent/ brokerage; this could impact our ability to negotiate a referral on your behalf.
5. Can I place referrals for Rental Customers?
Typically, agents will not pay referrals on rentals because of the challenges with rental commissions. Please contact the CRG Referral Associates concierge team with specific questions on rental referrals.
6. Can I place referrals anywhere in the United States?
CRG Referral Associates can refer their clients for real estate home sales and purchases nationwide. We partner with the top brokerages throughout the US, ensuring exceptional service.
7. Can I place a referral for a college rental?
Unfortunately, we cannot assist with college rentals.
8. Do I need to join MLS or a Realtor Association?
No. Agents who join CRG Referral Associates are not REALTOR® members and do not have access to the MLS.
9. Can I place Commercial Referrals?
Yes. We can place your commercial referral with an experienced Commercial Agent.
10. Can I receive a referral commission on the purchase or sale of my home?
Yes, you can receive a referral commission for the purchase or sale of your home. You would refer yourself as the customer, just like any other buyer or seller. Please note in the comments section of the referral form that the referral is for yourself.
